THE PROPHETS AND THEIR REBIRTH

The world is old.....and it has seen many men-live and leave for the realms of heaven or hell,by the aid of god or the misery of Mephistopheles,The devil himself.And through the many eras that have bygone...men and all have had the belief that man and all shall live again once they leave the body that held their souls,for good.Yet,this idea was not the same everywhere.

Reincarnation, literally "to be made flesh again", is a doctrine or metaphysical belief that some essential part of a living being (in some variations only human beings) survives death to be reborn in a new body. This essential part is often referred to as the spirit or soul, the "higher" or "true" self, "divine spark", or "I". According to such beliefs, a new personality is developed during each life in the physical world, but some part of the self remains constant throughout the successive lives.

For long and now too,the men from Hindustan especially the hindus,have the belief that man shall be reborn again and again until his soul is pure,free from sins and those who have suffered enough for the sins they have perpetrated when they lived before.This happened when the soul was pure as the divine nectar,when the mind is unspoiled by mundanity when that soul is granted "moksha" otherwise it is doomed to travel between the netherworld and earth.This is the faith of the sikhs and the jains.

The Taoists follow this saying:"Birth is not a beginning,Death is not an end.There is existance without limitation and continuation without a starting point.Existance without limitation is space and continuation without a starting point is time.There is birth,death,issuing forth,enterinfg in.That through which one passes in and out without seeing its form, that is the Portal of the Divine."This belief also binds rebirth with karma,where you will be born as a life, anything as per your sins and good as in hinduism,jainism,sikhism.

The other beliefs too differ with this idea but that is subtle.The ancient Egyptians believed of rebirth as an inevitable consequence of birth itself.The laws of jewism,Islam,Christianity in their mainstreams deny the theory of rebirth.

All this are the philosophies of the great souls,the greatest prophets who lived only once and were dear to god and god never let them live on earth again.They were the messengers of god,who told us to be like them.

Alas,that never was possible and all those who were never reborn were again prophets.I now wait to see the spectacle of escaping rebirth and in that hope do I also wish to escape rebirth.

Till then it is THE PROPHETS who did it.
